It was quite a pity to leave the peace and tranquility of this green paradise. The engine crackled and roared to life. A few "maina's" took of and a squirrel dashed up the tree. I could hear the flutter of wings and flutter of leaves as the huge Tata Safari pulled out of the gate.
This place is sure a great retreat from the city. But one can notice signs of it being consumed by the fast developing Metropolis "KOLKATA". It's not long before this road will be metalled and these bagaan badis will fall prey to high rise concrete structures. But while it's there, might as well enjoy a bit of paradise.
