Pasta Mama: A New Kid on the Bypass

My wife had noticed this little cluster of eateries lining the E.M. Bypass near Tagore Park on her way to and from work and was curious to see what drew such a crowd every evening. So today, we decided to check it out.

We took the service road off the Bypass and, thankfully, managed to find a place to park. People were sitting on chairs and stools everywhere. The place next door seemed particularly popular for its tea and snacks and was clearly a proper adda zone. Pasta Mama, relatively new to the scene, was a little more sophisticated, with comfortable indoor seating.

We started with Mozzarella Sticks, followed by the Hot Pepperoni Pizza, and then the Fried Ricotta Stuffed Shells with Garlic Bread. We rounded off the meal with a Cannoli, which was made to perfection.

How well Pasta Mama does in the long run will probably come down to one thing: Location, Location, Location. But when it comes to the food, they certainly seem to have got that part right!
