Day 1 of Pandal Hopping

The evening started with dinner at a relative’s place. A little problem getting there with so many people in the car and each one giving their advice on the one-way situation. Anyway we all met up on CIT Road, had a feast for dinner, and then headed out. The next four days have been more or less the same. Day one was in Sounth Kolkata: New Alipore – Shrishti Sangha, Behala (James Long Sarani) – Barisha, MG Road – Badamtala, 66 Palli.

Our friend Kaustubh along with his wife Preeti and two wonderful sons have become expert Pandal Hoppers. All organized with VIP passes for the best Pujas in town. Our workhorse – The Blue Qualis ferried us around the streets of Kolkata over the next several days.
