I was surprised to see how IT has taken KOLKATA by storm. IBM, WIPRO, HSBC, ICICI Bank and a large number of other corporate giants have their Back-Office operations in Sector 5, Salt Lake. This has led in a great way to the Mall cutlure and hanging out at Cineplexes and food courts in the city.
