Bollywood Beauty Makes A Comeback

Last Saturday I watched the much hyped movie that was Madhuri Dixit's comeback to Bollywood after a hiatus of several years. The other stars were Kunal Kapoor of Rang de Basanti fame and Konkona Sen. The movie was more a homecoming story about Madhuri than a real Film that should've had the ingredients of a masala bollywood flick. The story lacked any highs and lows and apart from Madhuri lighting up the screen with her ever radiant smile, the storyline was very flat. Add to that a song and dance sequence that nearly comprised of the whole second half of the film, Aaja Nachle is a film worth missing, unless you're a die hard Madhuri Dixit fan.

After the movie we decided to grab a bite and stopped at a place that specialises in take-away in New Alipore called Bukhara. We packed some Chicken and Rumali rotis. I enjoyed watching the guy actually make the Rumali rotis flipping them in the air and placing them on the overturned kadai that it was cooked on. The food is pretty good and worth ordering from the days one plans not to cook at home.
