I spent my Saturday afternoon engaged in searching for property. Believe you me; buying a house is one of the toughest things to do. I headed out to Rajarhat and saw a couple of apartments in several complexes there. Well the first place I saw is not worth mentioning, but the other two were nice complexes and the flats quite well designed. The only factor being that they’re situated 25 kms away from the main city. Well in Kolkata terms, that’s a huge distance. If you were in Gurgaon or Goregaon you’d probably laugh it off as a normal distance to travel to work, but not in Kolkata. Maybe ten years hence it would be a normal distance here.
