A Project called Ashram comes alive at Roxy

After several invitations from a lot of friends in the music business, we decided to head to Roxy. Some act called ASHRAM was supposed to be performing. So we landed up at the Hip Night Club at The Park. The place was bustling but not as much as one would expect for a Friday night.

ASHRAM started the evening with some typical lounge type music; a typical blend of Indian Folk meets Techno meets Classical. It was like a World Music kind of project. What added to the show were the psychedelic visuals on the huge screen behind.

The evening would have been great for those smoking up if you know what I mean. I enjoyed the music for what it was worth, but after a while the constant thumping of the bass got the better of me, like many others who had left before us.
