This much hyped movie starring Sonam Kapoor was cute. As the protagonist AISHA, Sonam (Aisha Kapoor) finally did come into her element as a clotheshorse. I think she would do better as a model with her lean, tall frame, though she did play the character well in this flick. Dev D star Abhay Deol (Arjun Burman) had an ok role in the film. If he had a meatier role, am sure he would have carried the film on his shoulders, but I guess he played what was asked of him.
Noteworthy performances thought came from Cyrus Sahukar (Randhir Ghambir) of MTV and Dilli 6 fame and Ira Dubey (Pinky Bose).
The movie script is surrounding the whimsical life of a rich spoilt rich Delhi girl and her quest for all things material and of course true love. The film captures High society Delhi culture quite well and anyone who’s lived in Delhi long enough can identify somebody in the film with someone they know in real life. Its cute as a film; satirical if you get the underlying digs at Delhi’s hi-soc.
