For Moments Like this

I had got home early and was out on the balcony checking on our Finches when I saw this beautiful dragonfly on the cable wire next to the door. I thought to myself, this would be awesome to shoot if I had an SLR Camera. Hello! I do have one, I realized and rushed in, grabbed my Canon EOS 1000D and started shooting. Here are the results.
