Mission Swimsuit! Ok before you start thinking Kingfisher Calendar or Sports Illustrated, this was a mission to buy a swimsuit. Do you have any idea how difficult that can be? I realised on Sunday. The mission started in the afternoon with our first destination being AC Market on Theatre Road. Well I had never been to AC Market. Never in my life and after this visit, never again am I going to be setting foot in this place. I don’t know if it even qualifies as a market? Anyway I guess it’s popular with a certain crowd in Kolkata. Oh, needless to say, we didn’t get what we were looking for.Thereafter we went to Metro Plaza and then to Vardan Market. No success here either. This led to us going to Forum Mall, and though we did find a nice swimsuit at my favourite brand shop, Adidas, they didn’t seem to have the size. No sweat, the search would be continued after we had some Thukpa & momos on Elgin Road and headed to the Tollygunge Club for a swim. We even tried the Club shop with no luck.
So after that on the way home, we decided to go to our favourite Mall, South City Mall and try our luck there. We did see some nice one’s there and the Adidas Store did have the size, but finally the fit seemed a bit odd.
So we finally went back home with the hunt is still on till we find the perfect Swimsuit.
