India's Best Blues Band...

is how these guys were introduced at a bit before midnight after HIP POCKET had wound up their performance. SOUL MATE more than lived up to that introduction. Last month I had heard the Beat Root Blues Band from Mumbai when they had performed at the same venue and I thought they were a cut above the regular Blues band that played at SPE on saturday nights and I'm not saying that The Saturday Night Blues Band is bad, I think they're awesome. But SOUL MATE just raised the bar last night.
