Today, I got lucky!
Amidst the usual melee of Kolkata’s streets, I spotted something that you don’t see every day — a single-coach tram of the Calcutta Tramways Corporation.
This was one of the older heritage coaches, which rarely make an appearance on the streets these days. Naturally, I had to grab my mobile and try to capture the moment.
With traffic, people and the general chaos of Kolkata happening all around me, I managed to get a couple of photographs before this little piece of the city’s tramway history disappeared into the melee.
Sometimes, you just have to be in the right place at the right time!
