After settling in the previous evening, we headed out this afternoon to roam around Bangalore, taking in the sights and indulging in a bit of shopping.
But the real excitement was reserved for the evening. Dinner at Pecos Pub was everything I had been looking forward to—music, beer, calamari, chicken, and dosa with beef curry. That last combination was the real reason I had come back. I still remembered the surprise and delight I felt when I first tasted it way back in 2007, and it was wonderful to relive that memory all over again.
After a great evening at Pecos, we walked a little further down the road to Corner House for ice cream. Just like Pecos, Corner House is a Bangalore institution, and no visit feels quite complete without stopping by for a sweet treat.
It was the perfect end to an evening filled with old memories, good food, music, and the unmistakable charm of Bangalore.
