After having lived in this complex for three years, we finally decided to check out the activities our Colony organizes during Durga Puja. So we went over this evening and witnessed an awesome showcase of talent. A choir of 11 ladies from the Complex started the proceedings for the evening. We were quite amazed by their performance and the fact that they came from different walks of life with a common bond; the love for music. They even managed to record 12 songs and have released an Album this Puja. Simply Aweome!
After the ladies, the stage was set on fire by the children of our colony. This was really what we wanted to witness. A modern day Goopi-Baaga story incorporating the story of the Maa Durga and the Asur was a delightful experience. It’s so wonderful to see such participation and enthusiasm of young children and better still to see a full house in support of these young minds. A well directed and colourful show put on by the children set the spirit for this Durga Puja.
The show ended with a Magic Show for the children which they thoroughly enjoyed.
