A Pitstop for the view

November 4, 2005: Circuit House, Ajmer: A little over an hour later after weaving through some narrow, meandering lanes bustling with an assortment of means of transportation, we came up the steep road of the famous Circuit House of Ajmer. As soon as we came around the bend, a blue sky besieged the horizon above the railing. As we aligned our selves next to the railing, we saw below the impressive Ajmer Lake and the hillocks around it that was the small city of Ajmer. Perched in the middle of the lake was a small island that housed a temple. The view was exotic and worth our second stop.

We made a quick call to Sheldon as we left Ajmer and ascended the Pass on our final leg of the journey to Pushkar.
