This was our second outing to Raajbarir Khawa; the first time around was a couple of months ago. And by coincidence I happened to find out that I knew the owner as he used to do a lot of catering for events done by my company.
Anyway today's visit was suggested by my in-laws as they had the urge for authentic Bengali cuisine for lunch. We got there by a little past 1pm, and had to wait for about an hour before we got a table.
Was it worth the wait. Definitely. It had struck me, while we were waiting, that if we ordered the food, we'd get it as soon as we got a table. And that is exactly what happened. As soon as we took our seats, the food was served and we got straight down to the business of eating. Relishing the tasty food would be the apt term for it.
